The ISN Quality Assurance Summit (iQAS) is an initiative by ISN Products
(Nig.) Ltd. aimed at revolutionizing the approach to quality laboratory
practice in Nigeria. The conference series promotes pragmatic, sustainable,
and effective quality management practices in the medical laboratory.

Through the ISN Quality Assurance Summit, we aim to achieve the following objectives:

Create a platform for national discourse on quality medical laboratory practice in Nigeria.

Educate and further equip Laboratory Scientists and Quality Assurance Officers with information on quality assurance principles, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Why IQAS

Effective laboratory diagnosis remains a key driver in ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being in the Nigerian health care delivery system.

The iQAS equips stakeholders, including Laboratory Scientists and Quality Assurance Officers, with the knowledge to improve their technical proficiency. Through the summit, medical laboratory practitioners can further develop their ability to produce precise and accurate test results, which will, in turn, promote optimum health care management.

IQAS 2022

The 6th edition of the ISN Quality Assurance Summit took place physically and online on Friday, 23rd September 2022. The
event was titled: “DEMYSTIFYING ISO 15189".

event was titled: “DEMYSTIFYING ISO 15189".

The summit hosted keynote lectures by Mr. Celestine Okanya, the Director General of the Nigerian National Accreditation System and Dr Donald Ofili, the Deputy Registrar of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

Following the enlightening speeches, a panel of four seasoned professionals discussed the preparation, application, challenges and rewards associated with implementing the ISO 15189 standard based on experiences from various medical institution
